We use a 4 star system around here. Actually, it is an 8 point system if you count halves, but let’s not quibble over fractions, all right?
* OK— I will drink you if there is nothing else in the house or just to be sociable. Thankfully, there is always something else in the house. Don’t let the door smack your butt on the way out…so much for being sociable.
** Good— I like you, you remind me of that girl I remember from 4th grade– you’re friendly, you have a cute smile, you smell nice, and I like hanging out with you. I may even come to like you– A LOT.
*** Very Good— I like your style. You entice me with your scent, your smile and that alluring look. I keep coming back for more sips and swallows.
**** Excellent— You smell great, you look fine and I want to take you home tonight. Please don’t make me beg. I’ll sip you all night.

I like your rating system – very interesting and easy to comprehend. It’d help me to weed out the good (including but not limiting to wine) from the not-so-good ones.
I’m not sure how easy it is to comprehend. But it sure is fun trying to figure out what each bottle does for me!
